What Is the LPA Monthly Mix-Up?
LPA Monthly Mix-Up is an ambitious concept intended to showcase the massive amount of musical talent currently unheard among the Linkin Park fan community. Every month, we will be challenging fans to compete and show off their musical skills, using any and all tools available to them to create their entry. At the conclusion of each competition period, our staff will then go through each entry submitted, and pick our absolute favorite to be featured on the site as the "Winner Of The Month". To promote fairness, runner ups will also be shown, but only one lucky Linkin Park fan will walk away with the honor of being featured as the "Monthly Winner". Now that we have that out of the way view this month's theme below.

Our official theme for the month of September 2014 is:

    Keys To The Kingdom Free-For-All

After a brief hiatus, our Monthly Mix-Up is back and we are ready to hit the ground running! With how quickly it caught the listener off guard, the introductory track off of The Hunting Party felt like a great way to start up the Monthly Mix-Up again. Unlike how the lyrics in "Keys To The Kingdom" start, we want you to take control and surprise us! We are challenging you this month by giving you free-for-all creative reign over "Keys To The Kingdom." What does this mean exactly? Well, anything goes, as long as "Keys To The Kingdom" was used in your submission. Remixes, mash-ups and covers are all welcome this month. We do implore you to create something as unique and unexpected as the original. The keys are in your hand. Go crazy and be sure to hit what you aim for.

    Deadline is September 30th, 2014.

    Good luck.

"The keys are in your hand."

They were, but then I dropped them down that hole in my eye.

I've never remixed a thing but I think it'd be fun to participate. What's a good editing thing for the PC that's safe?

I've only really used Audacity before, but then again, it is quite limited with what you can do.

I've made extended tracks and mash-ups. But I've never made a remix. It's my first time and I hope I will be successful. However I can't wait for new remixes! Maybe soon we'll have a "The Rehunting Party" Album from LPA!!!

Your remix is pretty sweet. Shows that MTG would fit so well in A Thousand Suns if it featured electronics.

Heyo, i really would like to join this MMU but unfortunately i am moving to italy and cant create a new remix due time problems.
But i would like to submit my remix i finished like a week ago but the thing is it doesnt have the stamp, is it okay if i leave it here like this for this month without the MMU stamp?

If not thats ok, just take it out of the competition then :)
