and about the instrumental volume, try listening to it with headphones.

 

The volume is lower than optimal. You can see it simply in the waveform. It's not even close to 0db in most parts, though it is close around the 2:10 mark. Some compression on the master would help.

I'm hoping to have my remix completed and finalized soon. I have made several changes, hopefully for the better. I have definitely figured out the problems with the chorus that I was experiencing. It turns out that there is a slight difference in time signatures between the chorus and verses of BITS, so I had to change the beat slightly for the chorus to fit properly. It's hitting much more smoothly now.

In the mean time, blackdonut has stepped up his game with his new version and it sounds great. I hope some more people enter this contest... except Best Asian Ever...

In all seriousness, I hope he does enter again. I need some more quality LP remixes for my iTunes

 

I want to hear more toe tappers, something that really catches my ear..
