    I don't think they did...Green Day was at Live 8 but they played in Germany and LP played Philly.

    they did a show with green day back in 2000 (17 december). it was at universal amphitheater in california.

    why would your friend call LP wussy metal?

    as it is.... SOAD isnt that heavy..... and LP, in some cases are heavier.

    I don't like SOAD, but SOAD owns LP skill-wise. You can't blame your friend for calling LP wussy metal... heck, I'm surprised he didn't call them "metal pop". I'd call them that but I'd just be bringing up a storm.

    And LP isn't heavier.

    Most media sources I read consider Linkin Park a boy band, although checking the wikipedia's definition, they're nothing like one.

    Some would criticise SOAD of being hypocrites for touring with a 'corporate' band. :rolleyes:

    Because they tone stuff down. They don't curse. Random stuff like that.
