This really doesnt relate too much to Meteroa but I thought those who are intrested in Meteroa would like to read this. I found this article on MTV.com that talks about the meltdown of "Nu-metal". However, it says in there that: "Sure there's a lot of rap in [Linkin Park's] music, but they have great melodic hooks," said Guitar One Editor-in-Chief Troy Nelson. "Mike Shinoda raps while Chester Bennington sings these soaring choruses. They have this mass appeal — the people who are into rock and hip-hop. Plus, top 40 radio even embraced 'In the End.' It's like they have it all." For the full article see: http://www.mtv.com/bands/m/metal_meltdown/...24/index2.jhtml Late, Shaun
Pretty interesting. I like that article. I like the quote by Wes Borland on the bottom, talking about he left Limp Bizkit because he smelled that people were evolving along with the music. But, I think LP has smelled that too, that's why Meteora is more hard rock and more metal added into it.
