LP doing older songs more "organically" in a HP style?

Anyone else really interested to see LP adapt the "new", more instrument/less elctronic based sound and touch up or redo some of their older stuff? I'd like to see a more pure rock approach to In My Remains or try to do a guitar heavy Blackout.

I would like to see this but I don't think it will happen. It annoys me a little that every time they "switch" eras live they have to swap out guitars. Have you seen their guitar rack? The backstage rig also changes the tone to match the Era of the song being played.

I would love to hear songs like Lying From You or By Myself played with the Hunting Party guitar tone but Brad's rig is pretty much set up for every song. I see the being a bit looser with intros and outros but not really anything else. They haven't done it before outside of playing a remix version of a song and I honestly can't see them starting. For a band that experiments so much live I'm surprised they haven't done what you mentioned but I doubt they want to screw up any members role in a song too much (cough Hahn).

Man, I always thought and imagined this would be nice! More organic In My Remains, Guitar Driven Blackout, Lies Greed Misery! You kinda read my mind in this phrase =D

No, the problems LT has isn't necessarily in the music. And ATS is perfect.

Some songs on that album are just horrible top to bottom to my ears lol. Doomed the moment they started on the song. So I get what you mean. Not just the "music" but the overall songwriting sometimes isn't good on a song whether it's played on synth, guitar or piano.

THP is closer to HT than Meteora is.
