IMO, the majority of the mainstream and underground hard rock/metal scene are both boring.

All of these metalcore and emo bands.... it's sad. There's like 5,000,000 bands doing the same thing.

I agree, minus the first sentence.

The reason I don't like Start Something is because I find it too polished, and they tended to rip off too many other bands.

As for the actual lip-synching, it comes as a surprise, as I've seen them a few times on cd:uk and Popworld ( :D ) and they definately were performing then.

You calling Killswitch Engage emo? Sorry, but they're far from emo...even the guitarist said something about them not being emo, he went "Emo, that shit is for (cut out for safety)"

I seen them on Top Of The Pops a while back when they perforemed Last Summer on the rooftope and they were definetly Lipsynching then, It's like Ian wasn't even trying because ithink he actually missed out a whole chorus (by missing out i mean he didn't even have the mic at his lips and the song was stillplaying)

Speaking of trying to act all badss...

And like Casey said, Travis Barker is hardly one of the world's best drummers.

Oh yeah. Of course, there are bands that don't lipsynch on TOTP but the majority do.

I Hope they're found to Lip Synch. I personally like Lostprophets and everything, but I want people to see that musicians in all genres do lip synch. Most of you probably know why. This incident isn't going to change me listening to them or anything though, and I don't see why it would change anyone's opinion of them.

The thing is... It should change peoples views of them if it changed or worsened their views on people like Ashlee Simpson...

@Casey - I just think that Travis is definitely one of the best drummers in the world right now, and that's not just because I happen to like Blink-182.

Wait... does everyone know that Jamie Oliver (the dj of Lostprophets) along with Lee and the others do backup vocals on Last Train Home among other songs live? Because that could be the answer to your confusion...

Not like I post on here all the time, and I know this has already died down, but how can you complain about the boards when you've not even been on them a month? If you don't like the boards, here's an idea : don't get on them.

    I'm with you on that.

He's probably the only drummer I know that can make a high-hat, a snare drum, and a bass drum sound amazing.

Because he's in a pop-punk band there's no way he could be one of the worlds greatest drummers  .

Have you ever seen his solos? He has some of the fastest hands i've ever seen. His beats are fresh and every CD he puts out amazes me. He knows all of the proper techniques and is just an all around monster on the drums.
