I'm sure a lot of you have heard of it and watched it at some point. I know that some people think it's too unbelievable but personally I think it's amazing. Thing is that the UK is basically a series behind so I've been downloading season 2 to keep up with the US. And this way no one can spoil it Anyone else got any views on it, bearing in mind that some non-US countrys are miles behind you Americans?
Lost is the best TV show ever made. It is absolutely fucking awesome & I love every second of every episode. They've pulled me in hook, line & fucking sinker. I dedicate too much time & money on this show, but I can't help it. Just amazing.
Lost is, easily, one of the greatest television dramas to have ever be placed into syndication. It's utterly breathtaking. The cinematography is the best that I've ever seen in any show. The storyline is one of the best to have ever been devised. The fact that it broke away from the traditional "these people are stuck on an island and that's it" cliché of other shows (Gilligan's Island, anyone?) makes it even better. Its intricate subplots are even more brilliant and the fact that almost every character has somehow interacted with another character prior to the plane crash without any knowledge is brilliant writing. J.J. Abrams is brilliant. Did I mention that the show's brilliant? I've seen every single episode thus far and I'm getting the DVD (season one) for Christmas. I seriously hope that the show never jumps the shark and that it stays on the air for at least two more seasons (which is very, very plausible).
Well said. J.J has stated that he wants to take the show to about 4 seasons, but he doesn't want to overdo it, so that's probably the most we'll see. Maybe 5 as the maximum. I can't get enough of this show, I imported the box set as soon as it became avaialble & have the books to go with it. I love everything about it. The box set is my bible.
I just can't get into it that's all...how are you supposed to spend 6-7 seasons (if possible) on a freakin' island? This isn't Gilligan for crying out loud.
Well, first of all, they're only halfway through the second season. There's no way that they're going to even come close to six or seven seasons and I doubt ABC will even let it go to four seasons. Second of all, comparing it to Gilligan's Island is like comparing Alias to Family Guy. It just doesn't work.
These are times where I wish we could get TV and cable in dorms. I haven't seen a single episode of season two, but I absolutely love it.
I'll give 24 the "best drama in syndication" title, but Lost comes second. I haven't missed an episode yet. It's so addictive and intriguing.
A few problems: One, no internet in dorms. Two: I don't have iTunes. Three: I don't feel like paying to download the episodes.
yay yeah it doesnt work but lol its not tha different as Alias and Family Guy is ... like theres peoples trapped on an island... the women all manage to stay pretty... and umm, and theres a fat guy! i agree with Mark... 24 is the greatest, followed by Lost
This is great. I missed episodes 1 and 2 of season one though, But after that my mate started talking about it so i decided i'd give it a try and loved it. But i have to say, sometimes a pattern emerges. Say you'll have a couple of ok episodes that basicly then set the scene for a string of really amazing ones, then a couple of ok ones and so on. I still love it though Downloaded episodes 1 and 2 of season 2 and i can't wait until that starts over here.
