The long awaited music video for Linkin Park's next single, LOST IN THE ECHO, now has a confirmed release date on a splash page for LinkinPark.com, and will be released this Wednesday, presumably on the same website. One thing to be noted, is that the splash page tells us to GET LOST, and that Mike Shinoda said that the video will be interactive. http://linkinpark.com has been updated to show a slideshow revealing new images from the LOST IN THE ECHO music video, as well as some hidden behind the scenes shots which you can see below. You can also watch an unlisted YouTube promo for LOST IN THE ECHO below. A countdown to mid-day on Wednesday has also appeared on the page which indicates the music video should appear at noon tomorrow at 12:00PM PST. Director Jason Zada has made an interactive horror flick before. I think it was somehow linked with Facebook.
Awesome Hope it's gonna be better than the Burn It Down Music Video. The set looks amazing, but I can't imagine how they will broadcast that interactive video on TV.
Really looking forward to this one. The Detroit location sort of suggests something a bit less "polished" than BID, which really didn't amount to more than special effects in the end. Plus, LITE is such an awesome track!
I got lost at understanding what an interactive music video is. Where can I see that Pendulum's video? I assume that on Youtube it is not interactive....
