I think the video is amazing. I love Linkin Park and the video was nothing like I imagined. - It was better! They must have put a lot of work into this video, and it must have taken a lot of time. I've been counting down for the video release, (like all the other fans) and my twitter was full of tweets about the new video. Everyone had a hard time waiting to see the video. But now I can honestly say, that it was worth the wait! Love it. You've done it again guys! Great job!
I'm curious if this happened to anyone else . . . but my FB friends list is basically full of people I don't know, that I only added for gaming purposes. And as the video used lots of their photos, I actually didn't even recognise it was using my FB photos until near the end when it accidentally included one of me. So in the end the video meant nothing, just random people. I'm sure this is true of a lot of people . . . anyone?
Most of us tend to use Facebook to connect with friends, so I think you might be in that rare minority.
So here is my interpretation .. They are living in a world with no pictures .. Since they miss their loved ones , this guy gives them pictures of them in exchange for their souls .After seeing them again the emotional stuff kicks in , and they are finally ready to let go ... As for the video itself , it's great but it would be a lot better if it featured inserts from the band (like Numb).
Thoughts upon first watching the video: "Why the fuck are these white people screaming at pictures of Asians?"
I remember when fans were actually supportive of different things the band wanted to try instead of always wanting them to fit in the mainstream.
crawling, papercut, smib, and ite are all cool, but like most of their videos they do not fit with the songs for some reason.
