P.O.D. will release their upcoming eighth full-length studio album Murdered Love on 19 June 2012 through Razor & Tie. The album's first single, "Lost in Forever (Scream)," can be purchased on iTunes.

    -----

I think "Lost in Forever (Scream)" sounds like a mixture between "Sleeping Awake" (which, in my opinion, is their all-time best song) and the material from Payable on Death. It's awesome. I haven't liked a P.O.D. song since their self-titled album, so I'm really hoping their new album is as good as this first single.

I've been a fan forever, and while unlikely I'd like to see this new album regain them some attention.

I like this band a lot, I'll listen to the single later... I loved When Angels & Serpents Dance!

Am I the only one who thinks this album is probably going to be step back for the band? I mean, I listened to "Eyez" and "On Fire" and I just didn't like it. They sound like songs from their previous "old-school" albums...
I loved their last album (When Angels & Serpents Dance), it was a kind of a new territory for the band, something new, more alternative-rap-rock kind of record. But I'm afraid, they don't want to experiment with new sound again.
But the single "Lost In Forever" sounds quite good, actually.

Its a decent enough single. It truly does sound remarkably like Sleeping Awake though. Which, probably because I like Sleeping Awake, it gives the new single this odd sense of deja vu,

I'll give it a listen later. I wasn't really impressed with Eyez or On Fire.

The song is alright. Well, On Fire and Eyez were also 'good' songs but none of them is a masterpiece. When Angels & Serpents Dance was a good album in my opinion, and I think I'll probably like Murdered Love, even if they're apparently not experimenting too much with their sound.

The albums that sound fresh and that I really enjoy are "Satellite" and "Testify".

When Angels and Serpents Dance was a fantastic album. Been wondering what their follow-up might sound like. As it stands, it seems like their next record should be promising.

If nothing else, the album art is pretty cool looking.

Why isn't WAASD on iTunes? It was there around the time of release for sure, did they pull it down or something?
