I'm sure anyone who has looked into whether there will ever be a Lost Boys sequel will know some of the gossip thats been going around the past 20 years. Well from the latest gossip a Lost Boys 2 film could be ready for production as early as this year - but with a straight to DVD release. The idea of 'Lost Girls' which was one of the original sequel ideas, an idea that the director was said to have agreed on, doesn't look like it will be happening and instead this will just be a Lost Boys sequel. The lost boys is probably one of my favourite films of all time but the only problem I see with making a sequel is that I doubt anyone would return from the first film. Everyone is too old. While it would be great to see a sequel of some kind I'd worry that it would have no one at all from the original cast, casted with unknown people and ruin the franchise. It almost certainly looks like we're getting a sequal sometime though due to the success of the first one.
