LIVING THINGS Scavenger Hunt: Progress & Discussion

This is their first time with this but not their first time with a puzzle cycle. The ATS puzzles were much harder than these, yes, but they gave the community full involvement and interaction and when one puzzle ended we got a new one, even if it took a couple days. Even with the first two stops of the Scavenger Hunt, there was community interaction. Rallying people to visit the sites and then figuring out what the clue meant... Unfortunately, that's all come to a grinding halt. LP is severely mishandling this Allan character, like Keaton said, and I really hope there's some technical difficulties on their end that's causing this. Otherwise, bad form. Just really bad form.

 

So what? This isn't trying to play football at elite level, this is a marketing campaign. People should've worked in this long ago. This is just plain bad. The marketing for this album has sucked fucking balls. They dropped every little tidbit of news in one single day.

 

Couldn't have said it any better than Kaeton did. I said once before that the puzzles are stupid and pointless because of how they are being done and I stand by that statement. Now if this whole thing had been done correctly then there would be nothing to complain about and everything would be just peaches.

 

I think that the next clue will be at the Toronto Maple Leafs' stadium (Air Canada Centre). I was hoping that the next clue would be a commercial during one of their games but TML aren't playing for the next couple months lol.

 

An LPA member went to ACC earlier today and couldn't find anything, unfortunately.

 

Well, it's the weekend. Maybe they'll put something up this monday?

 

how is that bad marketing? it was april 16th, they couldnt have waited until may to annonce the album and tracklist or these puzzles would be some time later this month. Correct me if im wrong but did they not announce ATS at least two months before-hand?
