almost my reaction when he said that to me
I just came on to post this - holy shit. It would make sense for him to turn up seeing as he's in London
Just had to post about the whole map thing-
I'm both working on collecting what I need for the super-awesome-special version and getting distracted by life at the moment. I promise I'll have the completed map done with all the clues tomorrow, probably after the new track drops unfortunately. As for the super-epic-mega-version, that will have to wait until I get all of the pictures I need.
sent you a mail btw
We can only hope. I'm assuming that he's coming to London so he can talk about the new single on some radio show after we've found the latest clue.
You've kept us waiting, and now you must deliver a super awesome out of this world map.
Nice work on the map _Depression, very curious about the final result... But how awesome that Mike used your map in his blog, congrats man!
OH NO HE DOES NOT GET AWAY WITH USING AN UNFINISHED VERSION OF MY MAP. DAMN YOU MIKE, MAKING ME DO THIS AT 4 AM.
I saw that this afternoon. I can imagine the look on the bunch of randoms at the museum when Mike arrives to a bunch of screaming fangirls/fanboys. Something like this would be their reaction
Lol, you should sue him, wasn't it copyright protected?
I'm making that face now. Imagine what my face will be 6 hours from now when I'm there!
Something like this ?
Technically it's copyrighted under an Attribution-Share Alike Creative Commons Copyright; basically, anyone can use or share the map, but it has to be attributed to the original artist (me) in the manner I specified (I didn't, so he doesn't have to); also, if he chooses to alter the map in any way, it has to be under the same license (Attribution-Share Alike Creative Commons).
Wow... You really dug into this huh? I was just joking of course.. But thanks for the lesson in Copyright Management :-D
It's no problem! DeviantArt makes (officially) copyrighting your work extraordinarily easy, and I almost always use an Attribution-Share Alike Creative Commons copyright. I'm used to explaining its terms, too.
I already figured you had to be working with things like this more than this once... The map really looks great, and the explanation you gave also sounded like something you explained more often indeed I'm totally not an art person myself, but I like seeing other people's work (especially if it's linked to something as awesome as this Scavenger Hunt of course )
As stated here many times already, Depression, you're a genius and your map is amazing. Great work! I can't wait for that new track....
Nice job updating the map _Depression! Now Mike's blog doesn't look so awkward.
For those going to the Scavenger Hunt location today, bring your cameras. You'll be getting a Joe and ellusive Ree sighting!
