Joe, I can confirm this. I have my email. Aww man, I was really looking forward to another remix of BURN IT DOWN...
I wanted another BID remix. According to the internet, Datsik is a dubstep DJ. Intrigues me. All we've had so far are House remixes, barring the KillSonik remix, so this should be somewhat different to the other songs in the subscription.
The remix was performed live on September 2nd at one of his shows. There's a link in the news post. And below. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_WC0z1RNHE
This sounds epic. Sound more like Drumstep which has the features of Drum and Bass with the slower tempo and elements of Dubstep.
A Drum and Bass remix. I like it. It does sound quite a lot different to the previous remixes. Also, Chester's voice is hilarious.
Nice surprise with it being UNTIL IT BREAKS this time around. I have the email, haven't downloaded it yet. I have high expectations for this particular remix.
So this is pretty cool actually. I thought it was really cool during the intro, as I was expecting a hip hop feel. I liked it less when it moved in a Dubstep-ish direction, but it's still pretty cool. And a nice change from all the 'Burn It Down' remixes.
I didn't like it. I know "Playin' with the big guns only get you slain" is a cool line. I didn't need to hear it 160 times in a matter of 6 minutes. I think Reanimation has spoiled me when it comes to "official" remixes. I have yet to be impressed, nor have I gone out of my way to download one of these LIVING THINGS Remix Subscription tracks. Sadly.
Hmm. I'm familiar with Datsik. He's made some good music but this is just kind of boring. It's just, ok...
The beginning was great, but it was way too repetitive later on. I'm a fan of datsik myself, but this was just ok.
