LIVING THINGS Release Day Challenge.

Translation: Buy the album don't download it lol. I'm going to listen to the leak, but i'm buying the album regardless. I always support Linkin Park.

Any idea when we'll get 30 second snippets?

I've put forward my 15 bucks for the digital copy, I don't think I'd be able to wait.

My heart nearly skipped a beat when I opened the site and saw LIVING THINGS and my mind got excited and thought it would say "LIVING THINGS LEAK DISCUSSION".

Needless to say, I will listen to the leak as I have given the band the money for preorders.

 

I have no will power, so I'm going to listen to the leak. I do plan on buying the album on release day though.

 

one thing that I still don't understand that how can an album leak before the release date...
I have ideas but I can't imagine it

Easy. Someone working at a record store takes a copy of the album home before the release date (they're usually shipped a week before, or earlier), rips it and posts it online.

 

You guys are weak. Waiting makes it so much better. Its like how the longer you hold back an orgasm the better it feels

 

I've gotta agree with what some people here are saying, the album comes out in Argentina on the 19th and it'll probably leak a week beforehand. I mean, it depends on when it leaks on whether or not I'll go through with it, but I think we all know it will probably leak a week or two before release.

The thing that worries me is that Mike says "WHEN it leaks" its like he knows its gonna leak (OR maybe LP will purposely leak it...mhhhh JS) and people will download it, which makes me sad and makes me want to push through to the release date. I have the album pre-ordered but Mike, if your reading this, I'M SORRY! Your music is just too good to pass up, if I see a download, I'm gonna get it...simple as.

I raise my hat to those that are going through with it, you guys have very good willpower, unlike me!

 

I will listen to the leak. The only way I would not listen to the leak is if somehow the power went out, or some crazy thing happened. Or if Joe shaved his head

He knows it will leak because he knows that's the way it goes now. It's really difficult for an album not to leak, and those who don't, are more like the exception than the rule, unfortunately.. You just take that for granted.

 

This will be a difficult challenge, but I'm up for it! I'm just gonna have to stay away from the internet, especially youtube! :L as I'm from UK I have to wait 5 days, which will be the hardest days of my life!

I'm a give me now and give it to me free kind of guy, but that doesn't mean I won't buy 2 copies for something I love.

 

I'm actually hoping the leak comes sooner than later so i can hear this masterpiece. I will be buying the album regardless!
