On July 2nd, 2005, a historic day in music took place, as artists all over the world gathered for one cause: to end poverty. EMI is releasing a DVD of this incredible occasion November 7th around the world and November 8th in the US. The 4-disc set contains three discs of live footage taken from the Live 8 shows staged in London and Philadelphia alongside key highlights from the seven other events staged across the world. Every artist who performed at London’s Hyde Park and Philadelphia’s Museum Of Art appear on the DVD, many of them with their full sets. Disc Two contains two selections from Linkin Park: 'In The End' and 'Numb/Encore' featuring Jay-Z. Read more here, at the official webpage. Thanks to Jas and Hellflame
They should have selected Breaking The Habit. Chester's vocals rock in that song (especially since he seemed a bit out of tune on the others).
I'm not going to buy the DVD, personally I thought Live 8 sucked. They should have had the whole Linkin Park, and Collision Course concert on the DVD, not just In The End and Numb/Encore.
Err.........What Collision Course concert? There was only one concert just for them and it was back in July 2004........Percides at Live 8 they only played 4 mash ups so to be honest I'm not quite sure what you meant...

Well we are all terribly sorry that you did not get what you wanted. After all, it isn't fair that artists other than LP and Jay-Z should be included in the Live 8 DVD. It's not fair that almost every artist from Live 8 is included equally. It is, after all, you that Live 8 was attempting to please, rather than appeal to dozens of music fanbases in order to raise money that will most likely be donated in part to those suffering in Africa. We will e-mail EMI about your complaints and thus rectify the situation.
Oh yeah, I forgot to add this to my post. [/sarcasm] I forget that most people see right through it anyways, since it's kinda weak.
The fact that Razorlight is on this DVD is disgraceful. They don't deserve it after publicly refusing to donate any of the profits they've earned as a result of playing on Live 8 to the cause. I might buy it if I have some extra money.
