Well, right now i'm at 1 of 6.

OML song may enter on my playlist, i don't think any of the others will.

all the songs so far are incredibly boring, and the lyrics seem to be even worse.

Really though, were Linkin Park ever lyrical heavyweights?

I'm not sure if I'm a huge fan of basically over half the album being revealed before release. Nobody Can Save Me, Sorry For Now, Halfway Right and Sharp Edges are the only songs that are a surprise now.

Definitely. I decided early on that I'd only listen to three songs (although I listened to TTM once during the livestream), so I'm not listening to OML or Invisible until May 19th.

Yeah, but I hope I get it soon because at the rate these songs are coming out I won't have any exclusive info to provide

This new album cycle has been very interesting.

I've listened to everything so far. I think, for now, I'd put the song order from favorite to least like this:
    1. One More Light
    2. Talking to Myself
    3. Battle Symphony
    4. Invisible
    5. Good Goodbye
    6. Heavy

I dig everything so far though. Totally refreshing sounf for an LP album. Do I miss the power chords? Sure. But I can get behind this no problem.

"Spoiling" the album before its release is a bad habit that bands have nowdays. I only listened to the official releases (Heavy, Battle Symphony, Good Goodbye) so far and I'll wait for the album. I think many fans are doing the same so a full preview would still be interesting, in my opinion.

Talking to Myself and One More Light are nice. Invisible is boring.

Power chords are the last thing I want.

I really like the sound of these songs but absolutely hate how formulaic they are.

    Verse 1
    Pre chorus
    Chorus 1(always quiet)
Verse 2 (always shorter than verse 1)
    Chorus 2(always LOUD AF)
Bridge(just a louder version of the pre chorus)
    Super quiet chorus
    One last LOUD chorus.

    Do something different!

Well, it's gonna be a pop record. Pop usually means pop structure.

And Linkin Park, safe for bits of ATS and THP, is mostly a pop band anyway.

A few of the songs have good moments, but overall everything from this album so far has been one giant "meh".

I'm reserving my judgment for both of these songs, as with Talking To Myself, until the studio versions are released.

This is LINKIN PARK, if you are expecting something different then you gonna be disappointed. and tbh a weird structured song isn't necessarily better than a verse/chorus song.
I love TLTGYA because it's unusual for LP, yes. but also I love FM which is basically verse/chorus + basic guitar solo.
Some of my all time favorite songs are just verse/chorus. like the majority of Purity Ring songs.

Give me a two-disc album and I'd be okay with this many songs being released, otherwise, I'm right there with you.
