The only bands I'm really looking out for in London are Velvet Revolver and The Killers. But the Philidelphia lineup... now that's fucking brilliant, at least as far as popular music goes.
The're the 20th and 21st bands on the bill... which means that they're about four hours away, I'd say.
watching it now, its the hyde park one. the verve just played. goddam those world leaders better come outta that summit with something good or else im gunna bop somebody upside the pancreas
Aagh I run downstairs because I wanted to watch it on the tv but then my dad was there...watching sports. O.O Owh well, at least I have me radio. Coldplay's on right now. Fix you. <3
My aunt is watching it now. I have no idea who the singer is, thou. =\ Is Green Day performing as well?
Green Day's doing pretty well, in my opinion. In 40 minutes though, Live 8 goes off, and The Game, then Audioslave, then Nine Inch Nails comes on.
Bleh I thought Green Day was yelling way too much.
Yeah, that Billie Joe's pretty talkative. ...and I'm not a big fan of their hollaring for the past seventeen minutes either.
Yeah, that Billie Joe's pretty talkative. ...and I'm not a big fan of their hollaring for the past seventeen minutes either.
It's way too happy.
I've been watching it for some time now and it's been really good. The Coldplay + Richard Ashcroft, Stereophonics and a lot of the others who have been on. I'm waiting for Keane, The Killers and Pink Floyd of course. This really might go down in history. That's what I hope anyway. And this is a pretty serious topic so I'll keep it here
