Linux

Can run on Mac and PC, is both stable and reliable. Can even run windows and mac OS software. But one thing about the Mac its hard as hell to upgrade hardware unlike a pc and mac is way more expensive.

Anyway anyone else here use linux? On my computer at home I have both Linux Mandrake 8 and Linux Fedora Core 6 installed. I also have windows 2000.

 

Is there really much point in this thread?? The ones about Mac and Windows got closed because they were pointless and trying to make their OS look better.

I admit I use all three when I need to and they are all good at their purposes. But seriously, Mandrake 8?? That is from 2001, if you are gunna talk about Linux talk about then later versions, it is updated nearly monthly. Ubuntu is the latest and Dell have recognised it.

But I shall leave it at this.. All of the operating systems do the jobs they were made for end.of.story.

 

This isn't a dissing thread, this thread is about linux which can be used on both MAC and PC. I personally like PC better but I'm not creating this thread to dis either. I just want to hear from all the people who use linux

 

Its hard to buy the things with the money to buy them. Plus if I want to put leds in a mac its more difficult, plus how do I clock a mac? Or how do I open the thing up when its like super glued shut?? I had a mac b4 and i hated it but tahts not the point of this tread so anyway.

Does anyone know if that umm Click In Run thing is ready for ubuntu yet?

I'm currently testing different distributions. I've used Debian for a few weeks, and right now I'm currently using openSUSE. Gentoo and Fedora are next.
