A few days ago, Linkin Park announced their collaborations with six streetwear brands celebrating the fifteenth anniversary of the release of their debut album "Hybrid Theory". Today, the first collaboration, with Japanese clothing brand A Bathing Ape, will be released. As promised, Complex has prepared a short write-up about the collaboration, which you can read on their site. The limited edition tee will be avaliable at 3 p.m. PST in the XVLP Webstore. Be careful, there will only be 150 of these shirts produced, so you have to be quick. Check out the design below and let us know what you think in the forums! I'm giggling at the thought of two art school graduates looking at the design and saying "this is a good design".
Damn, that's a severe dissapointment. Looks like something anybody with 5 minutes to spare could've put together, and anyone with 10 minutes to spare could improve on.
Looks like ripoff designs you would find in the streets of Thailand. What a waste of collab. And the 115$ price tag?? WHAT?
It reminds of the poor graphic-editing that LP fans used to do a decade back to make desktop wallpapers and stuff.
I can't think of a better way to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the band's first album than paying $115 for a really shitty t-shirt.
Honestly, this kinda makes me wanna say fuck the band. Putting out such a genuinely bad shirt and exploiting fans who love them and are willing to pay the money.
That looks, well for lack of a better term, bad. And what the hell is that shirt made of to cost $115?
