Indeed. It could be like a "Songs from the Underground" deal, since there's probably a lot of people in the mainstream who didn't know about LIVING THINGS REMIXED, and these tracks could be introduced to them that way. Still, I'd rather have all new remixes.
Off-topic, congrats on turning blue!
That...actually looks pretty cool. Thanks for posting!
I'm definitely buying the deluxe edition with the LP sculpture. Sounds awesome.
Holy shit, that's like 100$ dollars right there T_T. Where did you find it?
I have access to the german WBR press database since I'm an editor at LinkinPark.de for them. This pictures was in the official WBR Press Announcement for the album
Holy shit! I want it naaaooo! I want it naaaooo!
Ah. I see. Looks really awesome, I wish I could buy it
That's the type of stuff that gets the Grammy Award for Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package.
LP's third Grammy incoming, confirmed.
I'm more excited that this is an official warner release. Aka one step closer kappa to the band hopefully leaving Warner.
Although sadly I wouldn't be surprised if they renew their contract, despite there being thousands of reasons why they shouldn't.
Don't shatter my hopes and dreams, Derek.
Though I don't see them leaving Warner any time soon, to be realistic. It's probably just simpler for them to renew.
+1. High possibility here!
I honestly think they MIGHT use this to leave the warner contract.. but right now it would make me sad (I'd lose a job) and I don't think they WILL do it since their whole business (sublabel etc) is too tightly knit into warner
Warner already milked the shit out of LP in the past year or so by releasing a thousand EP's, collections and so on without bringing any new songs.
It might make you sad but I wouldn't lose sleep over it lol. I've had enough bad experiences with WB over the past few years that I'd rejoice if they went indie or joined a far better label.
Ummmm so is this good news or bad news? *starts saving money for album*
I have no idea how the band feel about being on a major label at this point but I think that we're all at least really curious to see what they could do outside of that framework
Also, if you want those images to be included in the main post (with permission from someone, presumably), please put them in there because I'm kind of not at a computer right now

Mike mentioned his love for indie music in that interview with Pigeons and Planes. Maybe this is the end with WB?
Shinoda has been declaring his love for "indie" music for a really long time now but, personally, I don't know what kind of bearing (if any) that might have on how he and Linkin Park feel about their label
