Nitpick: Why is Chester so bad at keeping on tempo these days? That APFMH bridge was awkward as fuck. Rob tried to get him back on track and it still didn't work. I wouldn't be surprised if Linkin Park did Warped Tour next year. That seems to be The Hunting Party's most obvious audience if you ask me. That's why I described GATS as "Warped Tour music" when it came out.
Did they play together? EDIT: Guess Dangerkids came on right after Linkin Park cause the beginning of Wretches and Kings played right before Dangerkids came on with Countdown. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5MkAGs5YzA
Let us have our opinions BMTH is great though. 'Sempiternal' is the one of the best albums ive heard of recent years.
I feel like I could like BMTH, had their music not sound so whiny. There are ways to write Metal, while talking about your feelings, without sounding so damn whiny. (BMTH's more heavier tracks are decent, but nothing special)
"CAN YOU FEEL MY HEAAAAAAAAAAAAART!" It's mainly the vocal delivery on a lot of the songs. It's usually sounds so breathy, and whiny. It sounds like he's crying when he sings
And that's exactly the problem. A lot of these "Metalcore" bands that have been appearing over the past few years utilize these kinds of vocals. It just sounds horrid to me.
Really, "Can You Feel My Heart" is the song you have a problem with vocal wise? I was thinking you would've said "Deathbeds" or "Hospital For Souls"
I used Can You Feel My Heart as an example of whiny lyrics. There were others on the same album that have the breathy vocals I speak of. I'm pretty sure Deathbeds is the main one I'm thinking of. I remember a few others, but not their names.
I don't find these lyrics that whiny. Sure you can look it a whiny way, but at the same time you can look at them in a different way. I find the lyrics to be written pretty decently personally.
That's actually my problem with Bring me the Horizon and all these other Metalcore bands. They all sound the same to me.
I love the genres of Metalcore, Hardcord, Post-Hardcore, Screamo, ect. It's all opinions in the end I like all genres but Death Metal though.
Do you think after this collaboration and I guess you could say a more punk/hardcorish album from the band, we could see them have bands such as A Day To Remember, The Devil Wears Prada, and Yellowcard open up for them?
I think I found the right one for you. Let's fuck 'til the sun goes up Because we haven't got long but we've got enough A night to remember, a day to forget Let's fuck! Fuck! Fuck, fuck, fuck
