Well I'll say it again I'm sorry I ever brought it up and I'm sorry I ever put anyone down. It was never my intention to bring anyone down and I hate to do that even on accident. What's said is done, and I'd like to forget about it so if you wouldn't reply to this that would be fine.
#FuckEchelon Jk. Agreed once again. For once I'd wish there was a substancial LP news post without negativity :/ .. Complaints and frowns always slip through the cracks no matter what. For once I thought this would be the kind of news everyone would be chuffed about yet there's still something negative to say. Linkin Park just can't win, even with their own fans.
Normally, it's par the course, but, this time, I'm genuinely surprised that anyone is complaining about this news Although, I would say that, even if they are headlining, a festival probably isn't the best event to do this at
Yep - live recordings of "With You", "By Myself" and "A Place For My Head" will be left off the "Hybrid Theory" bonus disc and saved for an LPU CD. Works every time!
I came in the thread reading great news and then somewhere in the middle came a bunch of kids spitting diareah out of their mouths. By the way, this is cool. I hope it's on a DVD or something.
I hope I didn't piss anyone off. I can be a bit strong worded at times. But yeah, I am honestly looking forward to the live recordings, both visual and audio. I've been listening to the LPU3 stuff a lot lately and I hope that the recording matches or goes beyond that because I love the way that sounds.
Really interesting news for sure, but I've always hoped they would do a beginning to end show of ATS. Even if it wasn't in an actual concert setting, and instead just in front of a camera like they have done before. It would make the most sense, and they have said that they wanted to. It would be really intimate.
June 14, 2014 - Download Festival (Hybrid Theory in its Entirety) June 27, 2014 - Transformers: AOE Premiere (Transformers Soundtrack in its Entirety) Hahahahaha How cool is that??
I wonder if this is just for Download or for some other dates as well... That would be a great idea two years ago when ATS was still fresh... sure, hardcore fans love it, but casual fans not that much.
It comes truly as a surprise. I love the HT 15 Anniversary idea, but it seems to me it is kinda early for them to do a show for that.
If they going to play My December then it's something. But I just don't care about the band anymore too much.
True. "Hybrid Theory" makes sense; most people here would rage if the band were going to play through "Meteora", while "Midnight" and "A Thousand Suns" would bore the Download crowd ... and "Living Things" just doesn't need to be played all the way through so much as more songs from the album need to incorporated into a live set.
