Linkin Park is currently entered in a contest against Coldplay and Rammstein to play an MTV unplugged set.

For those who don't know Rammstein is extremely popular band in their homeland of Germany. We were way behind in the contest at start, but somehow we managed to beat Rammstein and are currently in the lead!

So if Lp do end up wining this contest do you think they will accept and play the show? I've always wanted to know what an acoustic Papercut would sound like, that would be the strangest thing ever...

I'd love to see an Unplugged set by Linkin Park, it would be the best thing ever to me. Using nothing but Piano, Acoustic percussion & guitars etc. I think we decided that this poll won't determine LP actually playing the show, but it's more of an opinionated poll, as in "Who would you like to see play Unplugged?", but I don't know, I've heard mixed things about this. I hope the winner does play though, I'd love to see it happen.

Voted :D It would be amazing to see an American band that hasn't released anything new in 3 years to beat an extremely popular band in their own country.

that would be so awesome to see LP do something like that..

not only that but i think it would be fun to hear Chester sing all the heavy stuff softer.. Like him doing crawling with more harmony than emotion.. you know?

The 3 acoustic tracks from that radio promo CD were awesome, so if they win, this is going to kick ass. Although Rammstein would be pretty interesting unplugged. And coldplay... they're even.. plugged in?

I'd rather see Rammstein do an acoustic set, personally.
