As if a whole North American tour wasn't enough of an announcement today, it has just been discovered that Linkin Park will be performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live on May 18, the day before their new album One More Light comes out on May 19. The band has appeared on the show a number of times before, and they've always played more songs than what ended up being broadcast on TV. This is the second large american late night show that they band has played for One More Light, the previous one being back in February where they performed Heavy (feat. Kiiara) on The Late Late Show with James Corden. You can request tickets for free over here. Are you planning on going to this show? Have you been to any of the other Linkin Park performances at Jimmy Kimmel? Come and discuss in our forums. Source: 1iota via Linkin Park Fan Corner
Kimmel is the only late night show the band regularly appears on. Probably Heavy & Good Goodbye would be broadcasted live. Hoepfully they've mastered the songs by then (although the Echo Awards performance was really good imo)!
Any chance if we'll be getting a new song debut at the show? It being the day before release and all.
Probably not. They're still promoting "Heavy" and by that time "Good Goodbye" will be single #2, so it's either one of the two. It'll either be one song, or if they'll play a set it'll only be for around six songs.
