Linkin Park has just announced their first tour date for 2017, headlining Nova Rock in June, returning to Austria again having been there in 2015 at the latest. This will be the fourth performance at the festival for the band, having performed there in 2007, 2011 and 2012 earlier. They are joined at the festival by bands such as Green Day, System of A Down, Blink -182, In Flames and Prophets of Rage. The festival takes place between June 14 - 17, it has not been specified which day Linkin Park plays, but tickets can be bought here. What do you think? Are you going to this show? We can confirm that the album will be out before June of next year. Very specific time range of now till June.
Because the have mostly a much weaker line up than Rock Am Ring. And Rock Am Ring has SOAD as a headliner. I dont visit a festival just for Linkin Park. And Nova Rock is a little bit too far for me, dont want a 10 hours trip to a festival.
Or maybe you can go to Hurricane for just one day and see Linkin Park, and one day to RaR for System?
Rock Am Ring doesnt sell single day tickets. Hurricane i dont know. Well, i have to think about the next step i will do. Some festival has to be there next year
SOAD, Linkin Park, Blink-182, Rancid, Simple Plan, and Pierce the Veil all at one festival..... Dang! Wish I could somehow fly and go to this festival. I know the US gets a lot of good tours, so I can't complain, but I hate how subpar our festivals are. You would never see a lineup like this in the US. One of these days I will have to travel overseas. Also in relation to the comment above me, I still think it's a shame that festivals don't sell single day tickets in 2016.
The problem is, the festival will totally sell out. Thats the reason they "cant" sell one day tickets.
They could always hold a small amount of tickets to sell as single day tickets when it gets closer to the event like other events do. Seems like a reasonable idea to me.
