Linkin Park to appear on Steve Aoki's "Neon Future, Part 2"

yep that's it, really looking forward to this song aoki add that this song is the one he worked on the most and mike rewritting the lyrics plus 2 years of work this song will be a beast

Ok now i have high expectations of the song for 2 years of rewriting it. The differences are probably like Primo compared to I'll Be Gone.

 

Probably has about 5 lyrics then.

 

(1st time posting from mobile) checking this site from my phone is literaly the 1st thing I do when I wake up in the morning (other than going to the bathroom). Whether there are new news or not, don't worry too much about it admins. I'm still here since post MTM (but made this account a few months back).

It does seem like a small break from THP (I still lovin it). I hope its better than ALTNC.

 

I hope they can just do all the electronic stuff with side projects like this one so they keep Linkin Park out of the EDM style

 

I bet it's more successful than anything on THP.

Dude, half the first page was talking about how this news was late. You're late to critiquing the lateness.

 

Calling this news "late" is really beside the point, we found out right around the time ALTNC came out that LP/Aoki had worked on more than one song together and that another would likely appear on Steve's next album. This is just the first time it's been mentioned in any kind of specific manner.

As an aside, the title "Horizons" is one I've had set aside for close to 2 years for a track I've been working on for my album, whenever it gets done (it takes me AGES to write original stuff). GRRRRRR.

 

Actually No. There has already been an interview with Aoki where he revealed that LP would be on his upcoming album and that it would be featured on the second half next year. 8 tracks on each album with other featured artists aside from LP like Fall Out Boy.
This was mentioned many months ago.

I love Altnc and this news is good news. And i expect it to be better than altnc due to the hours (years) of work they had on this one.

 

It would be really cool if this was a visceral EDM song. I am no expert but by the name "horizons" doesn't sound as dark as Steve makes it out to be.

ALTNC was pretty cool.

 

New music with LP is always nice to hear. I'm not a huge fan of EDM, but ALTNC was good fun so I'm interested in hearing this, especially if it has the dark tone that was mentioned.

It probably will be. EDM is obviously much more radio-friendly and mainstream than pretty much anything on THP. Also, if I'm not mistaking, ALTNC charted higher on the Billboard Hot 100 than anything on THP so far.
