Absolutely. The quality is much better. IMO you can really hear the difference between the leaked and the cd version. Especially if you give it a listen through good speakers/good audio device.

Songs where I can really hear the differences and the clearer sound, are: War, Keys to the Kingdom and Guilty All the Same and Rebellion.

On another note: Wastelands sounds so out of place on the album. It's an okay song but they really should've released it as a b-side or as an individual track.
It's the only track which really feels like a recycled Meteocrap-song. Ah, the same counts for the LT b-side Until It's Gone. ;)

Good to know :) And how about a line in the sand? The instrumental sounded so high that i can't hear chester singing in the leaked version, especially at the end of the song where the guitars get even louder. How's the cd version in that song?

The Hunting Party was produced by Shinoda & Delson, Rubin wasn't involved.

I think what he want to say is that THP was again a step foreward and they didnt need Rick anymore for their way of going. My opinion , i can be wrong.

Rick Rubin could not be the one to blame if a song sounds "overproduced" and lacking in "rawness".

Anyone feel that the robotic scream in keys to the kingdom may be like a transition from Living Things to the hunting party?

I think there are so many things hidden in the songs, but not only about a transition... funny things.

They like to tell us certain things in that way :D
