Can someone tell me if a legit better quality that IS explicit is out there yet? I can't find one still :?
I really don't know, to be honest. All I can think is, they wanted an album full of material that would be awesome to play on stage, so they better play them all here and there eventually in the coming shows after release and onward! I'll be really disappointed if they aren't all given an honest, full effort to be flaunted live at least once in their entirety in the future.
I totally get what the guys said about Mike sounding like Page Hamilton. If no one had told us he featured in the song we would be arguing how slightly different Mike sounds in this track. He will have no problems with this live, although it'll be kind of a new thing for him to rap verses AND sing the chorus in the same song .. Thinking Chester can help here but with harmonies like he originally does.
Apologies if this has been mentioned...isn't Chester singing backup to Hamilton on the track? Sure sounds like it. If hadn't known Hamilton was featured I would have thought it was Mike singing lead...crazy.
Pretty much agree with your entire post, except that I would give Rebellion a 9/10 Definitely prefer this over LT and ATS.
Finally decided to post in here and unless people have questions or quote me directly I won't post anymore in this thread so I don't annoy you guys but I know someone you are dying to hear my opinions from all the times I was asked today in the shoutbox My opinion on the album after about 10th listen: -MTG and ALITS Take the album from a 7/10 to a 9/10. S/o again to Chimi. -The second half is way better than the first half -The highs of this album are much higher than other the Highs of other LP albums but the Lows of this album are some of the Lowest of the band. -MTG and ALITS are probably my two new favorite LP songs beating out COG. Rebellion and FM might also end up beating CoG. -Not my favorite album of the year so far. At the end of the month could drop down to as low as #5. Favorites: 1. Mark the Graves 2. A Line in the Sand 3. Rebellion/Final Masquerade 5. All For Nothing Least Favorites: 1. War 2. Keys to the Kingdom 3. Guilty All the Same I don't think KTTK will grow on me. I like GATS, just not as much as the rest of the album. As for War, War sounds like a Garage Punk band who does not know how to make music. Please, Linkin Park, never attempt punk again, ever. No need for you guys to Butcher a genre. Emphasis on Butcher. I think being a Punk fan made me like this song a lot less since Im used to Good punk. Now for my final thought, My ranking of their albums is unknown at the moment.
Don't know if anybody has asked this yet, so I'm sorry. But is the iTunes stream censored? Or is it a settings thing?
I finally a lp album i can blast in a long time. I was tired of LP and their emo-pop music. After listen to THP i think how the fuck lp release a piece of crap like ATS. God, that's an insult to music.
Wow I failed so hard, I thought Mike was singing the Chorus for All for nothing. Their voices sound so similar
Does anyone have the lyrics to Mark the Graves? I really love that song, but I can't make out what Chester/Mike are singing at times.
There's a fragile game you play, With the ghosts of yesterday, If you can't let go, we'll never say goodbye, No trace of what remains, No stones to mark the graves, Only memories we thought we could deny There's so much more to lose, Than the pain I put you through, In my carelessness I left you in the dark, And the blood may wash away, The scars will never fade, At least I know somehow I made a mark The dark! The light! Nothing left, nothing right! Nothing right!
