I caved in & listened to the album. Really liked it. I'll have to listen to it multiple times & in HQ before I'll really know if I love it. I really really liked War & All For Nothing!
So many awesome songs! So little songs off this album they can play on Carnivores. I wonder which songs will be chosen to be played live?
After not being home all day, I can finally stream it. I'm on GATS right now. Dude, Keys To The Kingdom is fucking amazing!!
Quality of that 320 is perfect. Just edited and a stream rip so the songs don't flow perfectly from one to another like they should. Good enough for now. KTTK :O MTG :O War :O
I want to say something to the similarity between GATS and ALITS: While I do think all of you comparing those two melodies are right, I do think this is on purpose. Bascially ALITS is the view on everything that has just happened. It is doing so by using certain elements of other songs. E.G. The line which says "I ain't never been a coward, I aint never seen blood, You had sold me an ocean, And I was lost in the flood," clearly is refering to Rebellion IMO. It nearly is used word by word. The whole "Give me, give me back what's mine!" thing reminds me of the FM, which is talking about something that should have last forever but slipped away. So both persons have lost something along the way and the singer wants to have this back by saying this. And while these songs are included in the songtext of ALITS I do find GATS in the melodie, which gives me the feeling that this is somehow the topic of this all. You are guilty all the same. So the singer says that no one's able to point the finger at anyone, giving all of this a depressive meaning to me. Well, I could go on like this and analyse this track to death, but I could very well be wrong and just want to see things, you know? What do you think? Maybe this even deserves its own thread. Just my two cents, though. The album is great by the way, I'm feeling every minute.
theres a few repeated lyrics in the songs. MTG, FM, Rebellion and ALITS have some really similar parts. not the first time they do it on an album
Man FM sounds so much better out of my studio monitors had only listened to it once before on my phone. Wow I like the song a lot more now
So was listening to the album all day at work today and here is my opinion....it fricken rocks!!! seriously this album might beat hybrid theory for me cause it has many variables to it and all the songs mix in well! this album features ROB and Brad at their best!! I love seeing the band get more involved and it will make for great concerts!! this album is a ..9.5/10 or even 10/10..Favorite songs so far... Keys to the Kingdom, Mark The Graves, Rebellion, and A Line in the Sand, but to be honest I love them all! The songs that were not released before the leak I must say were the best of the record! glad they saved the best for last!
explicit 320? I found explicit ones but just transcoded 192 and sounds terrible compared to the edited 320
yeah i think you're right! the explicit one says 320 but sounds bad compared to the edited 320...i think it's fake, i guess we should stick to the edited one until a better version appears!
