Easily beats half of MTM for me. Ah, tastes...
Someone should buy this for the purpose of leaving a nasty review.
OMG people, when you visit a LP fan forum you expect to see people supporting the band, not people calling them sell outs and stuff.
Pfffft. Linkin Park sucks.
Being a fan doesn't mean supporting them blindly in every single decision.
Whilst I do not think the band has sold out with this, and actually laugh at anyone who seriously (and not jokingly) claims so...I can tell you this forum is honest and always has been. We encourage sincere and honest opinions on the band's music/efforts...even if they're not always positive. Our members don't blindly support every single project the band has done just for the sake of proving our fandom. By being honest, I feel that makes our community more credible; because no matter what kind of fan you are, you can always expect to find people on here who aren't afraid to speak their mind.
Indeed. I used to big one of LP biggest fan, unfortunately not anymore after their album M2M.
In my own point of view yes most of their latest albums sucks. I don't like the way they are producing new songs, their boring new style.
I remember the last album i bought it was M2M and i wouldn't do it if i knew they are changing their style
There are a lot of people here that have a sense of humor. Most, if not all of the "sellout" posts were not serious.
I'm probably the most loyal Linkin Park fan that you can find. I trust their musical tastes and creativity and will support them as far as I possibly can. The band hasn't let me down for over 12 years. Everything they've done, I've enjoyed. I am thankful for that and am looking forward to what the future holds. That being said, I fully believe that if this was something the band was excited about releasing, there would have been talk and hype about it way more than two days before it was supposed to be released.
In the German iTunes Store the collection only costs 13,99€ (~18,60$)
I think you misunderstood me. I wasn't talking about this decision in particular (Because it was probably Warner's idea) I was talking about their decisions in general. (Like the LITE video, which I personally thought was a mistake- and that doesn't make me any less of a fan) Let me clarify myself by giving an example: If a mother scolds her child from time to time, it doesn't mean that she doesn't love him.
Anyone noticed? Very obvious CHANGE in Shadow of the Day in this Mastered for iTunes release!!!
Any other changes?
...which is? What's different about it?
I thought you were talking about the topic of the thread. As a fan, I still support their Ideas, though. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
Well, Chester's voice sounds more "natural" and the strings in the verses are much "different" and much more hearable. And to me it sounds like BTH's strings are lowered.
Anything different on "I'll be gone?"
No. I still can't hear the strings and I still can't hear the synth in In My Remains.
High Voltage sounds like a live version, not the 2000 remix judging by the preview. Weird.
