Alright, I feel like this may be a thread where I could be criticized, but this has been bothering me since I have joined the LPA. Many members on this board seem to disregard the Linkin Park member smilies. I mean, sure, they're not too bad when they're used like, once in a post. But nobody really uses them, or cares about them. So here's the question. Why are these smilies here if they are under so much criticism and so little use?
Yeah, I guess they are pretty pointless, but then again, when are we going to use a Zorro or a Cloud smilie.
You wouldn't believe how many members we had come here in the beginning just because of those smilies. They're historic and must be tastefully used. It's unfortunate they rarely are.
i love these smilies. i think members use them a lot because they are just simply...lovable and they add character what they are saying.
It's practically impossible to tastefully use them. Unless you're a teenie, but that's another story.
I love smilies....I used them a lot. I'm even sad that all of them aren't back yet. I use them on my msn.
As much as I love the shifty smilie, this is about the Linkin Park smilies. And just a question to anyone it may concern. How in the hell would you "tastefully" use one of those things? Or use it in any logical way?
Yeah.... haha, those are good smilies. I suppose you could use them while talking about them? but it's kind of turned into a whole "if you use them, you're a teenie" thing. =/ " is coming out with a solo CD soon." Would that work, or is that too silly?
PS. talking about the Smilies ... everytime i want to post , i can't find them ... so HOW CAN I SHOW THEM IN MY POSTS???? talking bout LP smilies ... i guess they seem cute but really they are Pointless
I don't think there is a tasteful way of using an LP smiley without being teenie-ish. But who knows? We may find a way.
still not get it i look for the 'Disabel Smily' option but couldn't find it by the way Chris thanks for helping
You could do something like this: "'s new CD is awesome!" But then again, that just makes you look... well, I guess it doesn't make you look lazy. But it makes you look weird.
