How dare you take a joking remark seriously, obviously I have shitty musical tastes. /gets banned for not respecting someone's tastes in music
Damn, away for an hour and now I'm reading all this The tension is rising it seems. I love the new poppier direction. Being heavy doesn't automatically make a song good. (and that comes from someone who listens to a shitload of heavy music)
Well, they're stuck in the bed they've made They built the identity of the band on not having a strict sound, so that's what the (remaining) fanbase will except from them. I guess this was kind of a side effect of desperately trying to get rid of the "nu metal" label. I think it paid off (they would be much smaller today if kept producing Hybrid Theory 3-4-5), but now they have to deliver with every album I for one am pretty happy that they went down this road, the constant excitement about the next album's sound is what makes them my favourite band.
Ahh, just saw this. Looks like they may have moved it to coincide with the live chat. Maybe we'll see it go up elsewhere earlier in the day? Either way, it'll be around before too long.
Did you make this or was it posted somewhere? Either way I like it but I am going to need to get use to the name. I feel like something about this name feels incomplete.
I made it! Who said it was delayed? "Linkin Park will be premiering 'Heavy' this Thursday, February 16th at 7AM LA Time, with a special live Facebook stream at 12PM LA Time."
Yeah I noticed that too but hopefully that's just about the live stream. I cant imagine them pushing it back just so they can debut it during the livestream. Anyone think they are going to debut the music video before the livestream or on the same day?
Maybe that's for their Stream/iTunes release? I'd rather hear it in better quality anyways than a horrid radio rip -- so don't mind waiting.
Yeah, nothing has changed. Heavy Premiere at 7AM PST. Live stream five hours later at 12PM PST. It's not been announced what the live stream will be so it's anybody's guess. Not sure if the end of this video was a fuck up or they're promoting the live stream time on purpose... no idea.
I just hate how brad and dave are so ok with not contributing parts with the instrument of there choice. I hear 0 guitar in this song. Yes i know thp had instruments which was great but it should since they are a band. I just always wonder what brad does on songs like this which have been the majority on the last 3 albums. I know its always about doing what makes the song better and with lp that seems to be no guitars at all. Creatively are they at a brick wall? Personally as a guitar player for 15 years now I always couldnt wait to contribute something with my instrument of choice.
