But female vocals! Beats! Chester sounds like sooooo different! It's totally revolutionary bro! Mike is a genius you just can't see it! I mean those lyrics! They speak to my soul!!!! Why IS my mind so fukken messy'!?!?
We have DRUMS I was worried because the bunch of digital drums. As someone jut said, i expect the drumms to be progressive. In fact that clip at the end maybe is the outro of the song. Kiiara was the best election for collab. I mean because her attitude, she is so cool. A linkin park girl. Chester never dissapoints. New logo looks cool
The lyrics are god awful, sounds like something a young teenager would write for english class in the 5th grade about a failed relationship. This isnt experimental. A line in the sand was experimental, so was Mark the graves. This song is gonna be compared to until its gone with cheesy lyrics.
I'm really hyped to hear this live (and I actually will in Milan this summer, because I'm pretty sure Heavy will be on the set), it gives me some "anthem" vibes and I'm really excited for it
Isn't insulting other members against the rules? Mods? You're attitude towards others that aren't feeling the direction of the song is a bit out of control.
LP come to a point where they simply CAN'T satisfy the 100% of their fanbase, because they went through many eras and genres. It would be cool to live in a world where people actually doesn't give a f**k about genres but I understand that there always will be the "Pop is shit, where are the guitarz" guys in the youtube comment section. I'd wish I didn't had to read that even here, and pretty much every internet page LP-related.
Yeah if anyone has to go somewhere its gotta skulldevil217, Can the admin ban him from here? for insulting members, and getting mad for having your own opinion
If you choose to see it in black-and-white, as you so clearly are, then yes. I only respond to posts which I think are not constructive criticism, nor do they add anything to the discussion of this thread. I call 'em like I see 'em. And don't brush off the fact that you were being indirectly condescending at people responding positively to the song.
Clearly i dont, I can come on here and complain all i want, i dont curse people out like you do and i dont break the rules, what am i not allowed to have my own opinion about a song or an album? please
Used female vocals in one of the versions of "My December" "Waiting for the end" R&B vibes ATS and LT both have electro driven beats in areas. So yes. They have.
My favorite LP song is Robot Boy, My favorite LP album is ATS. THP was just ok. I think Meteora is overrated and Hybrid Theory, while great and I will always love it, isn't a masterpiece by any means. Those are my general LP opinions as they stand now. Thought I'd let that out before I get accused of being some knuckle dragging nu metal fan stuck in the past. People can like whatever they want. I hope everyone enjoys the new song. With that being said, a lot of members here go out of their way to make those that have differing opinions feel very unwelcome. This being the internet, communication can be easily misconstrued. I understand that. However, so what if someone enjoys nu-metal? People get shit on all the time for expressing that and numerous other views that don't align with the hive mind here. At the end of the day we're on a Linkin Park fan site.
Again, you're ignoring that sentence where said it was fine if you didn't like the song, nor the more soft direction the band is taking. If I really had a problem with every user here that disliked the song, as you put it, I would have blindly replied to all of them. But I didn't, just to the ones I assumed not be any type of good criticism or have a condescending attitude. Yours included. I'm not gonna apologize for stating my thoughts on them. I am, however, choosing to end this argument right here because I don't want to derail this any further than I already have. If you don't like what I have to say, the ignore button is available to you. Going back on topic from now on. My apologies to everyone else for derailing the thread for a bit.
