Linkin Park Recording Remix For Depeche Mode?

    According to Depeche-Mode.com, Linkin Park have lined up to record a song for Depeche Mode's new remix album. Various members of the band have said in the past that they are huge fans of Depeche Mode, so this may be a reality. But please treat this with haste, as official sources from neither bands have confirmed this. We stress that this is a rumour.

    Note the word "remix". "Remix albums" tend to be "remixes" of the bands previous material. ;) In other words, Linkin Park would remix a Depeche Mode song.

    Oh ####. I thought Depeche Mode is just some DJ whos going to make a remix of an LP song

    Cool, if this in fact does happen at least we get some new LP material to hold us over until they put out a new album.

    Now this is interesting. I've heard that Mike and Brad (or was it Rob?) were very into Depeche Mode during their youth. And I love Depeche Mode too. I wonder what song they'll do...

    This should hopefully bring in some new influences for Linkin Parks next album, perhaps give them new ideas, give them a different sound, personally i love 80s music, I really like Depeche Mode aswell, In my opinion this can only be a good thing.

    Yeah it would totally bring some new influences in the mix, as long as Don Gilmore doesn't produce it XD rofl

    sad but true.

    hes a great producer i just dont think he should produce anymore of Linkin Park's Albums. He wants a sound He likes and thats the bottom line. I honestly think Mike could do a way better job of coming up with new ideas, producing the album, and giving the public some LP they want to hear.

    But sh*t I'm just some silly kid in a band who likes them right? :chaz:

    Yeah, ive always been into 80s Music, I was brought up on the stuff. B)
