I'm really hoping we get to see some booty poppin from some hoes in the music video. Maybe Mike will be grindin up against the wall while Chester tells a hoe not to come back nomore.
Here's another to file under "Linkin Park firsts I could've done without but it's not a big deal and it'll be fine"... Mentioning their own band name in a song's lyrics. Thanks for that, Stormzy. At least they didn't mention themselves... like in Mike's verse isn't where they say "Linkin Park". This going alongside : Featured artist vocals on a studio album song (started with Hunting Party), swearing (started on Minutes to Midnight, though I will say I not only became fine with this, I actually prefer it and I can't imagine them still trying not to swear), a track name matching an album name (One More Light)... Disagree. I earlier was thinking "good goodbye" could be a reference to how goodbyes are never easy, but sometimes it can be a good thing, if you're saying it to somebody who may be a bad influence in your life, even if you didn't really realize it until they were gone. I honestly think if they went that route, then there's not only nothing wrong with the title, but it's actually a good one. Doesn't really seem like they did go that way with the lyrics, but that's alright.
I can parse that syntax. Bro's bros gang Bro's bro. Brother's bro. Brother's friend. Brother's friend's gang. Brother's friend's posse. Oh it says bro Bro's no idea then.
And with the rest of the band behind them dressed in fur coats with gold chains, slowly rubbing their hands together and nodding.
I guess not him personally but "deep stuff" and saying his verse is awful because he uses slang like "tings" and "mandem".
Ever since Living Things, Mike's rap verses and Chester's singing are not connected at all... Chester is singing about feelings and stuff, but Mike is doing his battle rap bragging.
Fuckin hell guys the negativity is ridiculous. The song isn't even out yet. You have a problem with Mike rapping? This isn't any better or worse than before. It's just mikes style, also criticising the lyrics with no context of the song? Where's your successful band? You write better lyrics. If it's bad I'll admit it but at least give it a chance first.
