I found a petition http://www.petitiononline.com/lp112300/petition.html it has something to do with Linkin Park creating another remix album just like reanimation. I signed it but i dont think it can do much. Just thought i would share it with everyone else
And why would they want to do that anyways? Sure some fans agree that Reanimation was one of their best works, but think of the public backlash they'd receive. Reanimation, Collision Course, and then another remix album? No thanks, I'd rather not have LP thought of as complete and utter sellouts.
No,no more remix albums.A few remixes here and there are ok but not another album,it lost them alot of their fans and I don't want that to happen again
ok no....just no. no more remix albums. when i was first getting into LP with the HT, when i heard reanimation i thought "man if this is all they have f*ck this" but i was patient and meteora was realeased...thank God. i agree that reanimation is a pretty good album. but we NEED to see some new material.
Really, a waste of time. Even if the petition got enough people to sign, it still can't force them to do another Reanimation. We DO need new material...hearing the same songs over and over in a different format kinda gets to you..although, Reanimation was good.
If you're going to make a petition, atleast make one that people might actually sign, like, you know, a "Get Don Gilmore Out Of LP's Fucking Studio" Petition. Just some food for thought.
I'd sign that one. Making another remix album would be stupid. Too much of a good thing. Reanimation is my favourite LP album and if they were to make another remix album and completely mess up on it, then I'd lose all faith in them. And I agree with what Derek said.
No offence or anything but it really pisses me off when people say they're gonna lose faith in a band when they try to do something else then what they normally do.Music isn't just about playing the same style over and over again, its about exploring different techniques of music and combining musical cultures. If LP ever did do another remix album i wouldn't support it but I'd still keep faith in them -_-

personally i like remixes but everyone else is right they would be making to many. i would like to see another one but not until they come out with another album. maybe in a few years they could have another one. possibly add some of the meteora songs to it. not right away though
well said. i loved reanimation and i do think the work they put into that album was great. however i can also see why all you guys seem to get fustrated at the fact that other people saying daft things, like this petition about another remix album. LP need to concentrate their thoughts on the new album, which they are doing (i guess). a few remixes here and there wont do any harm though
