Linkin Park on TRL... on Webcam

According to MTV.com, Linkin Park are set to appear on Wednesday's taping of TRL, the popular television show that counts down the top ten most requested videos. The band, however, will not make a live appearance and instead chat via webcam, from a currently undisclosed location. But, considering the band's current production of the much-anticipated third album, a likely setting would be the recording studio.

Further, next week is apparently Brand-Spankin' New Music week at MTV, perhaps hinting at a taste of new material.

If its mike thats chatting with them, he better not give us like that little useless information that all linkin park fans already kno. I wish they could tell us a release date or name of the album.

But if not, im still going to be patient. And i doubt they will premiere anything on Brand- Spankin' New music.

 

Just because I have Justin Timberlake in my sig doesnt mean anything.

I'm never home for TRL anyway, since I'm always at work when it's on. Haven't watched it in a looooong time.

Edit: Also, I was just stating that it better be good. Not one of those, "Yeah, we're in the studio. We have 1321287398 songs written and we're narrowing down" bullshit. We already know all of that.

 

I hope somebody records ths and puts it on youtube ;P

 

Mike is known for his ambiguity concerning album news. I bet he'll be the one to talk, and I'll bet he's not going to say much of concern. Remember, this is TRL, for the kiddies who only find out about music through that awful channel. He's probably just trying to bring the teenies up to speed.

 

It'll probably be something like:

"Hey, guys! How's it going?"

Mike or Chester: "It's going great! We're really busy in the studio recording a new album!"

"That's great! You guys are probably really busy! We'll let you go!"

Mike or Chester: "Great! Thanks for having us!"



And everyone will be disappointed.

ahahaha! exactly my thoughts dude. Thats exactly wut there gunna say MAYBE they might add something like " we were shooting for the end of this year but now its probably gunna be the beggining of next year" lolol

i wouldn't mind if they showed off just part of a song..just to hear SOMETHING new, while i wait, but in my mind i seriously doubt they will show some new material, ah well at least i have good'Ol "QWERTY" but it won't keep me satisfied for long

 

The fans pretty much always get LP news/songs first.

 

i saw on trl 2day that lp was gonna be on friday and not wednesday now, did any1 else catch that.

 

MTV.com still has it listed for Wednesday. I guess watch tomorrow and see if it airs. *shrugs*

 

I saw TRL as well, and they did say Linkin Park will be on, on Friday. But on Linkin Park's official website, it says they will be on TRL on Wednesday the 27th. So I guess we'll have to wait and see.

LP: well we dont really kno when, were probabaly shooting for early next year and its going to be a lot different.

LP: well were shooting another video for fort minor its called remember the name so be sure to check that out
