Tons of people didn't like it on twitter P Diddy asked who had the best performance tonight and hardly anyone said LP even they we're one of the only LEGIT performers tonight.

And think about all of the good things about the performance: no auto-tune, first time playing that song on stage, entire band singing on key EVEN JOE!

 

just so everyone knows mtv has the vid up under their vmA PERFORMANCE videos its aweome wish full concert was broadcast though

 

i say linkin park gave the best performance and eminem second.

Just wanted to say that "The Catalyst" was around the late 70s-80s range position in Top 100 of iTunes a few days ago because of Diddy's twitter shoutout. Now it's at #47 because of their performance

 

^ I'd say Florence Of The Machine gave the best performance. Despite lacking any fondness towards any of the featured performers today, I still thought everyone that performed did a fantastic job.

On a side note, I really cannot stand Drake and Bieber. Or Kanye. Toast to the douchebags indeed.

 

Chesters vocals were ace it sound as if his mic was too low cause by the end hes really pushing himself mikes was up enough but had chazs mic been up more would have sounded alot better if you turn up full blast you can hear just how great chesters vocals are my only question is did they also record the radio edit for this tuesdays kroqs performance taped last week of the full version??????

 

Lol if you say so. In that case Kanye west, paramore, drake and BOB are an exception too.

I thought LP delivered a pretty sick performance right there. They did have a much better stage and surrounds for the performance though.

 

Yeah, I noticed that as well. Chester's vocals shoulda been shredding the speakers on stage. TURN YOSELF DOWN MIKE! YOUS AINT EVEN RAPPINGZ. WHILE UR AT IT GIB US BAK TEH OLD EL-PEE HAI-BRID THEARY!

 

I actually really liked this performance and Chester's voice. In my opinion, his raspy voice made the song sound better not worse. Yeah, I wish it was the studio album version also but there was nothing LP could do about that thanks to MTV's time limitations.

 

haha here in canada it was aired on much music, and they had a brief interview with phoenix and joe and the interviewer was like "when you guys coming to canada?" and joe hahn was like "Canada?, whats that?"

 

So just because a lot of people didn't say it was their specific favorite means they didn't like it? They could have easily liked but it just wasn't their favorite.

 

Haha wow. I really hope they visit Vancouver this time around.

 

if they toured any canadian city besides toronto or montreal itd be vancouver, Vancouver is like our LA
