The idea is to have waves of promo instead of everything at once. As in...people could lose interest and have the video to spark the interest again? At least that's how it works for other artists. Shape of You was released on Jan.6 and the video was out on Jan.30. Chained to the Rhythm was out on Feb.10 and the video was out like yesterday. So.. I'd say, totally normal
Castle on a Hill video was released like 4 days after the song came out :feels: And Shape of You would have been too but the two songs came out the same day.

I know this is random but does anyone know why the demo Grecian was never used on lpu? it sounded so great!
I wish I would've screenshotted it but earlier I saw a facebook comment from a guy saying that he was getting his 2 Linkin Park tattoos removed from his body because he was so ashamed of the new song
Dude this is absolute garbage. Haha LP has never sung like this. The dudes made it metal not the Nu-Metal. Just adding shitty screams and riffs wont make the song metal. Such a pity that they made this.
Man, there's a problem how people view bands and music in general. LP did Reanimation, Collision Course and Recharged which were remix albums, highly pop oriented. No other band related to the nu-metal or rock genre have been interested and successful in releasing and promoting a remix album like LP. Chester needs to scream in every f**king song because that is how its supposed to be otherwise no matter how melodious he can sing it will be absolute garbage. If Chester would have screamed in HEAVY, most of the people would be like, yea this is really heavy, pretty much LPish. Makes me laugh. So illogical Stereotyping. And people are giving their opinions on how they should make a record. They have more experience than you at least. Don't shit on their creativity if you cannot understand it. Mike rightly quoted in 'When They Come For Me'. Cause once you have the theory of how the thing works, Everybody wants the next thing to be just like the first.
Pretty much dude. I mean, people saying LP needs to make heavy music and then are like "What's The Hunting Party?" are clearly just a bunch of casuals who probably haven't heard an LP song since 2012. And anyone who expected OML to be a nu-metal or THP 2 are not very well educated on the band. It doesn't matter if the next record is super heavy and is critically and commercially acclaimed. Chances are the next record isn't going to be the same after. The band is all about evolving and doing different things, whether I like them or not. For example, I don't like folk music at all, but I'm not going to say "Castle Of Glass" or "Roads Untraveled" are shitty songs. This is why the "Hard Rock Only" category of LP fans make me so embarrassed.
Yes I agree! LP has touched so many genres so far in their career that is nearly impossible for any band to recreate. I'm not saying this because I'm a fan, just because its so true. There is so much diversity in all of their music which makes me think that this is how everything has to be done - CREATIVELY TAKING RISKS AND CHALLENGING YOURSELF. No other band has pulled off so many different sounding songs like LP, ranging from One Step Closer to Mark the Graves, from In the End to When They Come For Me, from My December to The Messenger, from Numb to Final Masquerade, from Easier to Run to In Between. Man its so damn diverse. Such a pity most of the people cannot understand this. They fail to see the bigger picture. When you look back at all of their work, its a piece of art.
