Well whether you like this song or not I'm sure we can all agree that this will be the worst LP album.. just below the hunger games... i mean hunting party
Please state your reasons for this. I have a feeling this could be one of their best albums if not the best. But of course, il need to wait and see until I hear the damn album before being so firm about it.
Eh, would he really? He didn't acknowledge a single track from THP. Good or bad. Also: You do know that it is just his opinion, lol.
Fantano hardly made any relevent comment, it was just a brief generalisation about big bands from the 00's always putting out tracks these days that sound like Imagine Dragons or edm. He also called Kiiara "some crappy guest singer", which is hardly a particularly knowledgeable or reasoned comment. Seems like he heard the track once and made a snap judgement.
He called it very generic. Which is what 80% of the people here have been doing since release. It's a very valid criticism.
By the way, Heavy has been successful so far. More than 5mln views on YT in only 4 days and millions of streams on Itunes and Spotify
Sounds too much like "Lost In The Echo" for m taste. Would be boring to have that as the opener (again).
Heavy isn't even Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter's best song. https://www.nytimes.com/2016/01/10/...ame-the-hottest-songwriters-in-pop-music.html
Well now, this thread blew up in the course of three days or so. I was one of the early commenters, back when the thread was less than 10 pages long Anyway, I've listened to the song three times now, and I have to say, it has grown on me with each listen. Will this ever be one of my favorite LP songs? Probably not. I can still enjoy it for what it is, though. We all know that LP has always featured distinguishable Pop elements, but never really went all-out Pop, except on collaborations and remixes outside of studio albums. Now, it seems that LP may very well be going in an increasingly Pop direction, for better or for worse. Who knows, "One More Light" (the album) may be just what I need to actually "get into" Pop music itself. As of now, I'm having doubts about this, but stranger things have happened, I suppose.
