It's long been speculated, and for weeks it's been all but confirmed. Now it's official. Linkin Park is headlining the Hellfest Open Air festival in France. Other headliners include Deep Purple and Aerosmith, while Prophets of Rage, Slayer, Opeth, Primus, Behemoth are among the wave of other artists performing. Truly, as the poster says, it's going to be one hell of a ride. The band will be performing on the last day of the festival, June 18. You can buy tickets now on the festivals official website. Check out the official poster for the festival below.

What do you think of this? Will you be attending? Keep in mind the band also has another show in France just a week before this. Discuss everything in our forums!

NO WAY, it's likely they bring back some old stuff like By Myself or And One as debuting KTTK.

Damn, what a line-up! So many bands I'd love to see.
Yeah, they're probably just going to add some of their old songs, since that's what many festival attendents would like them to play (at least at a (Metal-) festival such as this one)
Though it would be great to see KTTK or War being played.

Chester could feasibly appear as a guest during someone else's set

I highly doubt they'd ever bring back And One.
By Myself may be a bit more feasible considering they played it not to long ago, and tbh, the band really did nail it (with the exception of Mike's slip up in verse 2).
Mike did mention that he'd want to add KTTK to the setlist for the next tour, but considering we've heard them talk about debuting IBG and Powerless in the past, it's better to not hope much at all.

I can almost *hear* the metalheads increadulousness.

That's a pretty sweet lineup to be fair. There are some majorly good looking festivals going on next year.
