Lol, the ending of that video with Mike is hilarious. It's just an image from the lyric video and not official artwork. Chris Tachiera works with/for LP.:
The problem aren't the fans. they're more those joke music critics like this needledrop fucker, because what he calls as "music critic" is just pure bullshit.
Yeah maybe but some fans hate the songs just because the critics said there are pop crap. without really listening to the songs, it looks for me
Look at YouTube comments on anything Linkin Park that isn't Hybrid Theory or Meteora and you'll see that those fans have nobody to blame but themselves .
This was awesome and well thought out. Love boyinaband. Thank you for sharing the video. That was Dave's tongue-in-cheek humor.
There's something special about the first time you nail a rap-along to a Mike verse and/or song... I know they're not the most complex lyrics, and it's not a very long verse, but still, today I did it perfectly (Good Goodbye) for the first time. Felt good. Makes me smile. Maybe (probably) just me... This is one thing I enjoy about LP's music, and why even if a song maybe doesn't rank amongst the band's all-time best work, it's still slightly disheartening when people completely rag on new material. If I tried to rap along to Rap God by Eminem I'd probably faint lol Also, now I'll say up front I don't know much of anything about Stormzy's style (grime, it's called?) but I would bet, just a hunch not really based on a ton, that the "linking tings in parks" that seems to have annoyed a few people... was maybe kind of a joking thing, where he sarcastically or with a smile came up with it, maybe he and Mike and Chester and Brad (or the other three if also present) kind of laughed, then maybe Mike was like "No! No, I actually like it" if it was maybe met with "Is that too silly?" then maybe Chester was like "Yeah who cares! Let's go for it"... ...I realize I just like, invented a scenario, but from what I get from the mood in writing this album, the creative and collaborative process, and the personalities of the band members, I could see this happening. That's not to suggest that saying things like that can only possibly be in a joking manner, and I'm not referring to the slang/grammar (of "tings", most notably)...I'm really just referring to the idea of the sound of "linking tings in parks", alongside (and rhyming with) Linkin Park. My gut tells me they were aware of how it sounds and how much sense it even makes, and went for it anyway.
I immediately liked the song, something that hasn't happened with first two releases, Chester's voice fits nicely wth the rest of the song althought chipmunk voice is a bit funny. Chorus kind of reminds me of another song but can't remember which one.
Yes, that's it, thank you I knew there was something familiar about it. Although I wasn't very positive about the new album at the beginning I'm actually looking forward to it now, bring it on.
For those saying Good Goodbye is not a single... LPCatlalog has some different information. Along with come spoilers: Spoiler
You could say that... they're guilty all the same... Right guys?... right? Who's with me?... no one? okay...
Pretty much confirms that Good Goodbye and Invisible are the next singles of the album probably after the album's release.
