Push is also on Kanye's Runaway which is arguably the greatest song of the century so far. Come at me motherfuckers.
I thought this song would definitely be the next single, being accessible hip-hop and all. Oh, and for what it's worth, I think Mike's lyrics are fine for this type of song. Are they technical or wordy? No. But they do fit the overall theme, and compliment the lyrics in the chorus quite well. Still, it's just so disappointing that we won't hear any more rap verses from Mike. I hope he does something special with his sung verses/choruses.
Honestly at this point I'd be marginally more hyped for a Mike Shinoda solo album (provided it wasn't just a pure hip-hop record) than an LP album.
I was in that same convo with Mark, as he asked in a group text. It's not a single right now but it could turn into something like Burning In The Skies where it's a European only single etc. Nothing is confirmed at the moment and no plans have been announced to me, Mark or the ambassadors.
If anybody wants an update of how ridiculous the facebook comments can be; I've just seen a comment that has over FIFTY likes which says the following "I hate this song. Why does Linkin Park seem to think its a techno band now?? It's a GOOD GOODBYE from me as a Linkin POP fan now LOL" followed by an angry face emoji and a poop emoji
Facebook has become just as, if not worse than YouTube when it comes to the comments section... People just stopped caring if their real name is hiding behind a user handle or not.
At this point I'm totally sure it's people just trying to get likes for whatever reason. This notion that the vast majority of the fan base dislkes the song is odd, considering the amount of views those posts get (if you count no reaction as good) and the other reactions that don't include sad, angry, etc, you really see why the band don't seem to worried about the negativity, it's minisicule, just very vocal.
Take out the "GOOD" and it reads just like a comment from here about "Heavy". Nu-metal fans for you ...
Amazing ending and I agreed with his point but he lost me with "rappers just talk about bitches." But Mike's appearance was great.
