Did anyone say that? ... This album cycle is far from over. "The Hunting Party" came out less than two months ago. The band are embarking on a huge summer tour soon, and, then, they have another big Europe leg after that. They may well continue touring in support "The Hunting Party" for a good chunk of next year, and I'm hoping that they'll visit my country along the way. It's very likely that there will be more singles before the cycle is done.
Yay! That's awesome. Forgive me, I don't really know much about how things like this work or how to talk for that matter.
For some reason I loved this. I really like the video, but as many said, think he could've done better transitions, such quick edits sometimes make me lose focus. And thanks Tony for the shout earlier!
I'm always late to the (hunting) party, but I don't know what to make of the video. Seemed ok, but it was very choppy, far too many quick edits, too much not in focus, and was certainly not what I expected. It wasn't bad by any means, and if nothing else Chester seemed to be really enjoying himself. I suppose I will like it more once I've watched it a few more times, so look for a follow up post.
Mr. Hahn didn't direct this music video, it shows. This has to be one of their best music videos in years, possibly ever. The imagery of the baby gave me the super feels. Much metaphor.
Thank you. I'm surprised it took this long for someone to say something. The added musical parts are really awesome.
The extended version here reminds me of what they did for Castle of Glass. I don't know how that would fit on the album especially with Drawbar, but I prefer Drawbar/Final Masquerade over Final Masquerade (ext. intro and outro). The video is nice but could use some better pacing and storyline. I noticed that Brad wasn't present for a lot of it until later on, could this have been because he was recovering from his back injury when they filmed this weeks ago? In the beginning, they show the other five members but then Brad is shown separate and blurry a moment later. I do like how he can be seen singing in parts though. Not my favorite video but it will grow on me.
I know some people don't like the frenetic nature of the video, but I personally feel the video matches the intensity of the song. I think it's awesome.
I was going to, but I thought someone already did. It does remind me of what they did with Castle of Glass video, but I'm such a fanboy, that I don't like it. I'd prefer they didn't add any new part to the song, just for a video, but what do I know? I'm fussy.
Seriously impressive and probably the best video I have seen from LP to date. I might even have to go as far as saying this alone will help boost album sales. Funny how a music video can change your perception on a song as a whole.. not to say that I didn't like this song (infact it's one of my favorites on the album) It's just that I love it even more now.
There's definitely a lot going on there, didn't understand shit but I've only seen it once. And about the extended parts... it just makes me angry, not because I hate them but because I liked them and it sucks that they aren't in the original song.
lol. Complete opposite for me. Typical music video that could have been part of the time when MTV still had musicvideos on TV. Not my cup of tea. Two many images without a relation, editing is pretty mediocre, overacting everywhere. Oh well, at least I like the long intro and outro.
