A quick thank-you to Andreina for being so organised and enabling us to get this story posted quickly!
Blocked in aus, yay. The universe really doesn't want me to watch this right now. Even if I use Hola I still have capped internet.
The Best music video so far... I thought the extended intro was Drawbar... I hope they include that..
For me, hands down, Video of the Year and one of the greatest videos Linkin Park has ever put out. Well worth the wait. I LOVED the new intro and outro for the song as well. Thank you for directing an amazing and beautiful video, Mark Pellington.
I kinda think its a bit all over the place. The quick cuts don't help it either. Lot of ideas that probably would've felt more fleshed out if it weren't for those quick edits. Overall it's just decent.
An excellent music video. There's definitely a lot going on, but I loved the imagery and the colors. It just made the song seem that much more full and powerful. Well done to Mark Pellington and to the band for an excellent video.
Amazing video, enjoyed so much!!! but (for me) I think that "From The inside" is the best band video, solid and direct history, great locations and performances.
Ok so... The apocalypse thing happened. Maybe a huge battle or something. The world is gone to crap and the scientists that enable this war start killing themselves. But in the aftermath there is still hope (the baby). Then an angel saves this baby, and the baby is taken to a safe place with some farmer dude, and the baby grows up. Then the people at the end are the baby and his farmer dude dad walking off into the horizon. So what I have decided this video is mainly about is this: I have no clue. The baby does kinda resemble that baby in the ww2 picture. Anyways, it has to do with war and how war is not good and how angels are always watching over us. Also, at 1:35 Joe does the Chester arm thing. Edit: Make that 1:33 ish. Edit 2: "Final" and "Masquerade" both have the letter "A" in them. Edit 3: There's a triangle in the middle of the letter "A". Edit 4: This leaves no other meaning to the video except that it is an Illuminati Training Video
I agree. I liked the imagery but like you said the cuts doesn't feel right with the tone of the song, its too fast for a mid-tempo ballad song.
Great video. Maybe their best, even if I can't quite pick up on everything it's trying to say. I think I just need to watch it a few more times. Also, I've always been listening to this as a basic love song, so it's interesting how they chose to do a political take on it.
