It's not a great song, but it's a beautiful one nevertheless. Most un-Linkin-Park song I've ever heard from them.

 

I love the post chorus. The MTV version is higher quality right off the bat. Sounds incredible, and the drums at the beginning, yum!!

 

Who knew MTV will be the messenger of a beautiful song? Impressed. I love the lyrics.

At first listen it was a bit meh, but the more I listen to it the more beautiful it becomes! I love the melodies and Chester's passionate vocals

Is it possible that THP actually sounds coherent? Because 5 songs we've heard so far are all over the place.

 

I think, it´s a song that you wouldn´t expect at your first time listening to the album. When i´ve heard it the first time, i thought " Okay, how could this fit in the album?" but i think, that the song befor and after FM are very important to understand it.

 

In a good way?

 

Listening to Final Masquerade followed by Tinfoil/Powerless is something really nice

 

Big Dead By Sunrise vibe from this. Summer ballad.

 

I was getting a little of a DBS vibe too from my first listen.

 

Also, aside from Guilty All the Same being long, the rest of the songs clocked in at under 4 minutes, but man they just FEEL a lot longer than what they are. Final Masquerade, Rebellion, & Until it's Gone feel like they go well into the 4 minute range.
