This is a forum right? As long as his posts don't take away from the thread what's the issue? As Andreina suggested for blake to do, you guys should just use the ignore button and you won't have to worry about seeing all his posts.
Just looking at everything on the last page, except the last one, none of these are really repeats. Maybe from thread to thread, yes. But in each actual thread I try not to repeat myself.
The issue is that if you keep posting the same shit (like everyone asking about screams so much) or telling everyone how much he loves the band, it just makes it look like you're looking for attention or trying to get your post count up, or both. It brings an onslaught of douchebaggery and annoys/frustrates people.
Ignore the haters Blake, its always refreshing to see positive comments on this forum so just keep on posting buddy!
Anyway to put this thread back on topic I felt that FM was the first song from THP that I liked on first listen. Its a great song and now I'm even more hyped for the album! Can't wait to hear Mark the Graves and A Line in the Sand!
Essentially half the album is already out, I'm not sure I understand what LP is trying to achieve here by releasing all these tracks before the album drops? I mean I know they said they want to give new music to their fans, but I did not expect this.
I found the song easly. Really, really great. The lyrics are very, very creative and the atmosphere growing is just beautiful,I was singing the chorus already at the second hearing. Really, really love this track ! I love ballads like this,The Messenger and Leave Out All The Rest.
@Blake and @KillerUndies Fight, fight, fight! Kiss, kiss, kiss. Anyways, I won't listen to the leak or any leak unless Linkin Park sends me a link for the download. But I read the lyrics and they seem really good. Can't wait to see how they're performed in the song.
I hope the rest of the album is heavy as fuck, as they promised us Keys to the kingdom better be a fucking awesome opener just like Papercut
The song is beautiful. It's my favorite by them now. There is a little bit of a shoegaze sound to the song, especially the guitar on the bridge. I'd always wondered what LP would sound like if they explored a more atmospheric texture on their guitars.
I personally don't care if it's heavy or not, but I'm just wondering how this was claimed to be their heaviest album. There's like four songs left to hear and nothing out is that heavy.
I'd advice you to keep your expectations to a decent level. Over hyping stuff will lead to disappointments.
GATS, Wastelands, and Rebellion are all heavy. It has also been confirmed that KTTK and War are way heavier than these songs. As far as MTG and ALITS they have been confirmed to have heavy parts but im not sure how high on the #visceral scale
It's becoming an interesting trend recently. Chiodos just did something similar, actually releasing a song each week and essentially leaking the whole album on their own before the release date. Each album release should be different so im fine with it.
I don't see how Wastelands is heavy. Rebellion had the best chance but then it gets too reserved. They went the complete opposite direction after that opening riff that prevented it from being so imo. GATS is just a rocker, but never really matched Rebellion on dat visceral scale.
