Linkin Park just finished their show in Hamburg, Germany where they debuted a new song, Heavy Is the Crown, from their upcoming new album From Zero. You can listen to the song below, thankfully filmed by members of the German crowd. Heavy Is the Crown is also heavily rumoured to be the League of Legends Worlds 2024 anthem. Holy shit that was so good! Sounds a bit like Muse but with a strong LP DNA intact. Nice choice for a single and for a crossover project!
This may be a hot take to some but I am so happy that nu-metal Linkin Park is back. Love good sounding nu-metal. Dropout Kings, Fever 333, and now Linkin Park holding down modern nu-metal
This is a nice change of pace from The Emptiness Machine. And as @The Free Element said, the LP DNA is intact here. The rap verses, the little Faint-esque synth in the background, hard ass chorus, scream, etc. It’s gonna be a banger for sure
THIS IS WHAT YOU'VE ASKED FOR! Emily, my girl...that was amazing!! Another great song with another catchy chorus. This comeback has surpassed any expectations I've had for the future of the band. I'm beyond excited. I'm loving this new era! I think we will be getting a lot of future classics of the band in this album.
What is this, Scientology's replacement for mental health? Song is dope. Can definitely see new generation AMVs with this in the background.
Nu-metal af, but still sounds kind fresh (love the chorus especially). Gives me hope for more variety in the album.

Not gonna lie, I had hoped Heavy is the Crown was gonna be a deeper song about the weight of performing in Chester's shadow. But this... this also fucks.
Just in the video you can hear how loud people were, actually being there must've been INSANE. She's so good! I love that we're seemingly getting another heavy record that harkens a bit back to their first two records. Obviously I haven't heard the album yet, but it kind of feels like this album is going to be what The Hunting Party attempted being. I'm so pumped.
