One thing that stands out to me is, all the songs that we've already heard sounds COMPLETELY different from each other from the vocal styles. (PS: this is only based on the little snippets that we had. and I don't talk about the sound or the production, because we've only heard the studio version of "Heavy" yet.) So we have: "Heavy" which sounds very R&Bish. "Sorry for Now" have some chill Dream pop vibe on it. "Talking to Myself" is very groovy. "One More Light" which is very ballady. So I think this album is gonna sound nothing like the "Linkin Park" that we've known. and that's is pretty great imo.
Just seen the video now.. I decided I won't spoil the title track so that's all from me, lol. Can't wait for this album, really. It fits with the music I'm currently listening to more than THP back then. It's going to be a heavenly match #fangirl
A frightening possibility... 10 tracks is one thing, but if all the tracks average 3 minutes or less I'm gonna be kind of disappointed, no matter how great each song is
Somewhat random but I hope the Linkin Park US tour is announced soon. My summer is slowly getting more and more busy and wallet slowly getting emptier haha. My friend and I plan to go see them if they come to the greater Seattle area and it will be his first time seeing Linkin Park
Sorry For Now and One More Light are the most intriguing out of the 3 we have some knowledge of what they sound like. Talking To Myself gets better with every listen of the snippet but that chill, cloud rap-style instrumental with Mike singing and apparently Chester rapping sounds very cool so far.
Really hope 'Sorry for Now' has the same feel as the snippet we have heard. I'd be disappointed if the final version does not have the same vibe.
Totally! I was hoping for Linkin Park to make anything like Arcade Fire - this band is great! The stuff they provided on their 'The Suburbs' album is a masterpiece.
Well, in my world if you tell the forum administrator to 'go suck balls' after receiving an expected responce, you definitely deserve a banhammer.
Capo on 1st and Em, C, G, D sounds pretty good for me. Starting to play from the "Light goes out" part onward.
Idk, since OML is the penultimate track I'm not expecting it to be a lengthy song, but either way I'm excited to hear it.
For people who don't know, the language on the glass is Hindi and the word means Naughty. Are they finally heading to India for a tour?
